Fund Three Months of Our Weekly Professional Reading Tutor

Fund 3 Months of Weekly Professional Reading Tutor for 10 elementary students who are significantly behind grade level in reading. With four donors, we can fund the entire year! This program focuses on mastery of key literacy skills, increasing reading levels, and improving grades. Tutors work with students to set goals to encourage academic success. 100% of these scholars are making gains in reading.

$5,000 provides three months of weekly professional reading tutoring, for 10 elementary students to catch up and thrive in grade-level reading.

Fund Twice Weekly Transportation for Our Students

Fund Twice Weekly Transportation for 35 students, for four months, from school to the afterschool program to home. With just five donors, we can fund the entire year! This program meets twice a week after school as part of a partnership with the Annapolis Maritime Museum to provide students with tutoring, mentoring, early college and career readiness education, and environmental education programming.

$2,500 provides vital transportation for 35 students, ensuring their access to educational enrichment and safe passage home from their afterschool program.

Fund a College Scholarship

Fund a College Scholarship for a student. The scholarship fund helps eliminate funding gaps that cannot be addressed through traditional scholarships, ranging from dorm room bedding, a laptop computer, or a suit for a job interview. This program continuously supports scholars completing community college, a 4-year college, a certificate program, the military, and securing a paid job. 100% of our high school graduates are now attending college.

$1,000 funds a college scholarship, bridging the financial gap, allowing a deserving student to pursue their dreams.

Fund a Charting Careers Family Night

Fund Charting Careers Family Nights which support community building, accountability, and healthy, trusting relationships. With just six donors, we can fund the entire year! During Family Nights a nourishing dinner is served, family activities are planned, and supportive information is shared based on community interest and needs.

$500 funds one Charting Careers Family Night where scholars, parents, and family members come together to eat dinner and support goals.

Fund High School Internships where our internship programming focuses on creating a plan to ensure success, including identifying personal strengths, honing interviewing skills, and finding an accessible location. Once the job or internship is obtained, mentors and staff help youth work through challenges as they emerge. $250 funds high school internships providing relevant work experience and helping open the doors for opportunities.
