Provide Transportation or Serve as a Chaperone

At Charting Careers, we believe every scholar deserves access to opportunities that expand their horizons. From team-building events and college visits to after-school activities and personal goal achievement, safe and reliable transportation—and caring adult supervision—make it all possible.

Why This Role Matters

Transportation and supervision are often the difference between a student saying “I can’t go” and “I’ll be there.” By stepping up as a driver or chaperone, you help ensure our youth can:

  • Attend field trips, college visits, and enrichment opportunities

  • Participate in after-school practices and programs

  • Explore new environments in a safe and supported way

One of Charting Careers’ distinguishing program elements is our commitment to safety: we cover background checks and provide staff oversight to carefully select and support volunteers serving in this role.

What This Looks Like

Needs vary—from one-time commitments to ongoing support:

  • 🚗 A daily ride home for a scholar who just made the cheerleading team

  • 🚌 A one-day college visit or cultural trip requiring extra trusted adults

  • 🎉 A Charting Careers event or field trip that needs additional supervision

Whether it’s a single afternoon or a regular routine, your support helps open doors to experiences that change lives.
